Norman Rockwell Museum-Stockbridge MA.
A 40 minute drive from Albany. Stockbridge, located in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts was the home of Norman Rockwell from 1953 until his death in 1978. The current museum was moved to its present location outside of town in the early 1990s. It houses several original paintings and magazine covers along with works of other artists. His studio is also on the property. Although the museum is self guided, the presentation by museum stall is highly recommended.
