Revolution Rail-North Creek NY

Biking on railroad tracks in the Adirondacks? You bet!!

Enjoy your ride through the forest on a 2 or 4 seat recumbent bike. A great activity for all ages and ability levels. Distance is approximately 7 miles round trip and takes about 2.5 hours start to finish including the shuttle ride. Very slight uphill grade on the way out but the grade works for you on the way back.

Just before you reach the turnaround the forest opens to a railroad trestle crossing the Hudson River

After a short rest while the bikes are turned around, it’s time to head back.

Time for a photo-op on the trestle.

Revolution Rail opens in early May starting with weekends. They switch to 7 days per week in mid-June until September. They then close a few days a week until they close for the season on November 1st.

Trips are 10AM 12PM 2PM and 4PM.

Cost is $80 for 2 person bike and $140 for 4 person bike.

No minimum age. Trips go rain or shine.
